What Did You Think?

8th Oct 2009 @ 17:34

Photocamp 1 has taken place! We had a great day with some great sessions and presenters providing a rich and varied program. Thanks to everyone who took the time and effort to conceive, plan, write and then present.

We're already planning the next one! When we have some more concrete information we'll let you all know.

To help us with the planning, we'd like to know how you found PhotoCamp 1. We've added a feedback section to the website for those of you who attended so why not head over and let us know what you thought? Of course, all submissions will be confidential :-)

We asked you to tag your pictures, and tag you did! The slideshow of pictures from PhotoCamp 1 gives a real flavour of the days activities.

Phone Number

27th Sep 2009 @ 10:24

As Photocamp draws closer, we are now in a position to hand out the phone number in case you arrive late or are unable to find the venue.

There will be someone at the rear entrance to the venue from 9-9.45am to let you in, see map for location of rear entrance.

In the unlikely event that you do get lost or turn up late, the phone number that can be used on the day is 0131 650 3974

5 More Places

21st Sep 2009 @ 16:40

Following the popularity of PhotoCamp 1 we've reviewed the venue capacities and the number of places we can offer. The initial number of 40 was always slightly on the conservative side, so we've adjusted it to 45.

The waitlist has proven useful and so far everyone who has opted to be placed on the list has been given a place, either due to this increase in overall spaces or due to earlier cancellations.

Photocamp 1 is fully booked!

18th Sep 2009 @ 08:39

We're pleased to be able to announce that Photocamp 1 is now fully booked!

This event is operating a waitlist, which already has some people listed on it! As we get closer to the event we'll be reviewing the numbers and may be able to offer some additional places - watch this space!

5 Places Left...

16th Sep 2009 @ 00:08

Photocamp 1 is now almost full, with just 5 places left!

We've been slowly adding pieces to the website, so if you're attending and already know what you'd like to present there's now a place where you can tell everyone else about it. Of course, adding your information is entirely optional!

Also, we'd like to know a little more about you, so we've added a place to tell us all about you!

Rest assured, we don't share any information you provide with anyone else, but we do use it to try and refine our planning for this and future conferences! Go on, spoil us and tell us more about you!

Places going fast...

9th Sep 2009 @ 11:23

PhotoCamp 1 was publicly announced just under 24 hours ago and already more than 50% of the places have been taken. If you're planning on attending we'd advise you to book as soon as you can to avoid disappointment! The venue has a strict limit on attendees, so once all the available places have gone - they've gone!

RSS Feeds

9th Sep 2009 @ 11:20

For those of you who like to keep fully up to date, we've added RSS feeds to the site - one for each conference and one for all of our news. Hopefully you'll find these useful.

Photocamp 1

2nd Sep 2009 @ 23:30

We're pleased to announce that our first event, Photocamp 1 (imaginative name, eh?), will be held on October 4th 2009.

The venue is central Edinburgh and has space for 40 attendees, so space will be limited.

As it's our first and we're still developing our ideas and organisational abilities, this event will be free!

We look forward to seeing you there!

And so it begins...

2nd Sep 2009 @ 23:10

It's taken slightly longer than originally planned, but finally the website has made it onto your web browsers!

There are still a few bugs and not everything is working as we'd like, but keep the feedback coming and rest assured we'll be tweaking and poking for the next few days or weeks to improve things.

Hopefully we'll see you at one of our "unconferences" sometime soon :-)
